ADD (aka ADHD) poses extra challenges to learning and to the ADD family, whether specifically homeschooling or not. It is often hard to diagnose, partially because there is no one type of ADD and partially because it is often paired with other conditions, making it even harder to diagnose and support. While the exact causes of ADD have not been identified, genetic studies show a strong hereditary component, with an up to 91 percent likelihood of passing the disorder to your children.
